A picture speaks a thousand data points. In a data-driven world, the ability to present large amounts of information through visualizations is increasingly important for success in a variety of industries. The career outlook is bright for professionals who are well-versed in these skills.
In this three-course certificate program, we’ll explore ways to organize and derive meaning from data using Tableau tools and techniques. You’ll learn how to create rich, intuitive visualizations that can help your organization make more insightful decisions. Use principles drawn from the fields of visual design, perceptual psychology and cognitive science to develop your ability to effectively convey data in a professional setting.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To apply, you must have basic proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets . You must be able to create basic charts and input, organize and modify data.
If you’re not confident in these skills, consider taking our Foundations of Data Analysis or Business Technology Essentials course first.
Time Commitment
Including time in class, you should expect to spend about six to eight hours each week on coursework.
English Proficiency
If English is not your native language, you should have at least intermediate English skills to enroll. To see if you qualify, make sure you are at the B2 level on the CEFR self-assessment grid . To learn more, see English Language Proficiency Requirements – Noncredit Programs .
