About this Course
In this course, we’ll examine a diverse range of topics that demonstrate the variety of domains to which GIS can be applied. We'll examine the tools and methods that expand the use of GIS beyond the traditional desktop environment. You’ll learn how to use imagery and remotely sensed data in GIS, applications for 3D data, and how to analyze and work with network datasets. You’ll explore the use of GPS and mobile GIS products in collecting and integrating field data, and work with Python as well as other GIS automation environments. We’ll also cover working in an on-premises Enterprise web mapping environment and integrating GIS into the broader business setting.
