About this Course
In this course, you’ll learn about developmental communication and swallowing disorders, specifically the nature, primary causes and common clinical approaches used to assess and treat them. You’ll explore the speech-language pathology profession and discuss the professional practices and issues related to the clinical services provided by SLPs. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of clinical service delivery approaches within the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model.
