About this Course
All the DEIB knowledge in the world won’t move the needle if you can’t share it effectively with others. In this course, you’ll explore several different modes of engagement common in DEIB work: trainings, meetings, conflict management and individual conversations. You’ll build on the concepts you learned in DEIB Work: Beyond the Basics and develop skills to deepen the trust needed to have difficult or complex conversations with others. You’ll also learn a variety of facilitation methods and frameworks for structuring those conversations, including how to incorporate trauma-informed approaches into conflict-management strategies.
What You’ll Learn
- How to build a level of trust with others that will support difficult or complex conversations around DEIB topics
- Basic conflict-management strategies, including trauma-informed approaches
- Different methods of facilitation that will help you better lead virtual and in-person meetings and trainings
- How to use various frameworks to structure difficult and/or complex conversations around DEIB topics
Get Hands-On Experience
You’ll write a conflict-management philosophy that you can use with throughout your career.
