Brian Hughes
Nonprofit Leadership Consultant & Coach, LPA
Brian Hughes is a leadership coach and nonprofit consultant specializing in transitional leadership and change management. As a member of LPA, Hughes has worked on a variety of projects, including as an interim executive director for organizations in the Seattle area. He also advises and coaches leadership teams, nonprofit executives and boards as they navigate change, drive strategy and establish organizational culture.
Prior to consulting, Hughes worked as operations director for Porchlight, Kent Youth and Family Services, and in multiple roles for Seattle Housing Authority. In 2007, he launched a nonprofit organization at the age of 26, leading it through multiple growth stages over 11 years, developing a staff of more than 20 employees, and establishing programs on multiple continents. Hughes holds a master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University and a master of divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.
