Jerry Kuch

Principal Software Engineer

Jerry Kuch has worked for startups, academic institutions, research labs, and global companies, including Microsoft, EMC and VMware. His past work has touched upon computer security, operating systems, virtual machines, network appliances, distributed systems, high-level language implementation, mathematical and statistical computing, message-based middleware, big data, cloud computing, data science and machine learning.

A UWPCE instructor since 2016, Kuch has taught programs on the Scala programming language and functional programming; concurrent and distributed programming; data engineering, big data and distributed systems; and data science, machine learning and deep learning. In 2022, UWPCE honored him with an Instructional Excellence Award.
