Joyce Lee

Vice President, Vale Group

Joyce Lee is vice president of finance at Vale Group, where she leads financial planning and operations for the business and philanthropic organizations of the late Paul G. Allen. Previously, she was the chief financial officer at the Marguerite Casey Foundation, where she launched mission- and program-related investment programs to better align the foundation’s capital with its values.  

Lee started her career in public accounting at Clark Nuber PS, advising nonprofits on financial strategy and operations. She brings broad nonprofit leadership experience, including board service, and currently serves as board chair of the Northwest Area Foundation. A certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified financial planner (CFP®), Lee holds an accounting degree from Western Washington University and an executive master’s of public administration from the University of Washington.
