Rebecca Bramwell

Environmental Scientist II, King County Department of Local Services, Road Services Division

Rebecca Bramwell is a wetland scientist with four years of experience in environmental science and natural resource management. As an environmental scientist for King County’s Road Services Division, she provides expertise in environmental review, permitting, and compliance for transportation improvement and fish passage projects. She also contributes to mitigation monitoring and fish exclusion and water quality monitoring activities.

Previously, Bramwell served as a biologist for Snohomish County’s Transportation and Environmental Services Division. Her experience also includes wetland and stream delineation, wildlife habitat assessment, and consulting on stewardship, conservation, and regulatory compliance for residential development projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and cultural and global studies from The Evergreen State College, and she’s a 2022 graduate of the UW Certificate in Wetland Science & Management program. She’s passionate about science communication and advocacy, collaborations to balance environmental and community needs, and expanding access and belonging for nontraditional students in higher education.
