Meet the Instructor
Russ Moul
Russ Moul has been working with the Java programming language since its inception. Prior, he primarily developed using the C and Pascal languages. He’s experienced with a broad range of Java-related tools and technologies, including build systems, IDEs, J2EE and other industrial grade tools. Russ has developed and taught courses on Java and C programming, as well as object-oriented programming and UML modeling.
Russ has been an instructor and course developer for UW Professional & Continuing Education since 1998. After 37 years of service, Russ recently retired from his position as associate technical fellow in software engineering at The Boeing Company, where he focused on embedded, highly distributed systems. He earned a master’s degree in software engineering from Seattle University.
