Stephen D. Oliver

Senior Technical Writing Manager, Google

Stephen Oliver is a technical writing manager at Google Cloud, where he leads a team of writers who deliver content focused on Google’s Cloud Security technologies. Previously, as a senior technical writing manager at Microsoft, he led content development efforts for SharePoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Visio and Access developer documentation. Concurrent with full-time roles at Microsoft and Google, Oliver served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, retiring in 2018 as a lieutenant colonel. He holds a bachelor's degree in English with a teaching emphasis from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and an MBA from Trident University International.
