Timothy Mudd

Senior Principal in Data & Analytics for Market Solutions, Slalom

After 20 years occupying every commercial graphic role from designer to creative director — in-house, through agencies, and consulting across multiple industries — Tim Mudd sought to pivot his career into visual analytics. This journey led him to the University of Washington, where he completed the UW Certificate in Data Visualization, became an instructional assistant, and today, is an instructor for UWPCE programs in data visualization, data analytics and foundations of data analysis.

At Slalom — a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting firm — Mudd partners with executives and analytics teams to shape data strategy, design analytics products, and build measurement frameworks that enable confident decision-making. His work in data visualization, analytics enablement, customer and marketing measurement, and executive storytelling supports organizations from Fortune 500 companies to nonprofit foundations. Mudd brings his real-world experience into the classroom, not only helping students understand how to build visualizations, but how analytics create impact inside complex organizations.
